this is a very large drawing, which may or may not be going on a postcard.
can i cheat on my own blog? yes, yes i can.
the nice people at blowyourhornhunter.blogspot.com have invited me to contribute to their already inspiring blog. im really excited about this as i am a longtime fan of most of the other hunters, and a new fan of a couple. they all do absolutely beautiful work, and ill be struggling to keep up.
ill still be posting here, though there may be some doubling up.
at any rate, check it out. and if you have one of those things that subscribes you to a blog or something (i really dont know what im talking about) get it going.
so here is some fairly recent stuff. first off is a job for MORE magazine, the job was pretty straightforward in the fact that they wanted a US map with 5 specific cities highlighted and showcasing why they are desireable. i guess there is only so many ways to go about illustrating something like that… they were really nice to work with though.
next are some kind of thought processy sort of drawings. just stuff to help sort out ideas.
i had all these crammed in a sketchbook and figured i should do something with them.
lastly, is a drawing that me and hannah did on a napkin, while waiting for her to play at an open mic.
